A rare hand colored etching by Basilius Besler entitled Cinera Cum Flore  from the famous Hortus Eystettensis Book, published by Eichstaett & Nuernberg.

These botanicals took Besler over 16 years to produce. One of the most famous and wonderful book of prints ever made in the world on this subject.

The work is in excellent condition overall with wide margins. From 1713 there are minor imperfections due to and consistent with age. The text on verso has minimal bleed through to the front.
