A rare hand colored etching by Basilius Besler entitled Ornithogalum Spicatum from the famous Hortus Eystettensis Book, published by Eichstaett & Nuernberg in 1613, 1640, 1713.
These botanicals took Besler over 16 years to produce. One of the most famous and wonderful book of prints ever made in the world on this subject.
